History of the St. Peter and Paul
Catholic Cemetery

Many of the first settlers in the area around the cemetery arrived in 1909 and were Polish Catholics.
The land was donated by them for a cemetery and church.
The first graves date to 1913.

1909-Jul-03: Paul Shubert gained homestead entry for S½-14-24-2-W4
The St. Peter & Paul Cemetery and Church would be a small portion in the southeast corner of this land.
